Fourteen

Found an old super 8 under me bed so I sent it off for processing and telecining today. Must be about three years old now so I don't know what's on it. Hopefully part of it will be useable in the video Rob and I will be shooting soon.

Massive creative explosion.
Wrote, recorded a new song (up on the MySpace - www.myspace.com/beaubrummelmusic),
Gathering material and scanning scrapbooks for my forthcoming book,
Archiving lots of footage of concerts (solo and previous bands I've been in),
Arranging direction of new Super 8 music video with photographer Rob Luckins (www.welcometothedarkslide.co.uk).
Updates on all of the above on the way..

Twelve

Been writing some prog-psych-folk kind of music recently with some local friends. We've recorded some jams in Chad's bedroom and garden, I'll upload them soon.

My book is coming along nicely, the cover is done, 16 pages so far, probably go up to about 25. It will be available for purchase along with my CD album I'm currently compiling soon. Here's a drawing from it..

The show went very well last night. A couple of numbers were badly affected by my guitar's steadily worsening intonation, but it was alright. Here's a video of some clips of a few of the songs I performed -

Seven - NEW GIG ANNOUNCED

Had three hours sleep last night. Cough, sneeze, bleurgh. Went into Scummm-town today, bought a couple of Tony Hancock and Peter Cook & Dudley Moore records, a Maneki Neko, some cheap scampi, came home and started writing a new song on the Joanna.
But more importantly.. I'm playing at The Bronze Doors - Portsmouth Guildhall on the 9th of April. They'll be a photography auction for charity too, so it should be a good evening.

Six

Finished recording 'Just Because' when I got home last night. It's now on www.myspace.com/beaubrummelmusic.

Took a coach to London with no plan of action. Ended up seeing The Fall at Koko. Mark E Smith came on in a wheelchair, played a few songs, got wheeled off and sang the rest of the set from backstage. Going back home in four hours, finish recording new song, ride my bicycle, have a cup of tea.
